Something's Cookin'

>> Friday, October 8, 2010

I couldn't help but be curious about what's going on in that stall at the mall this afternoon.  I moved closer until I got to the side, near the 'chef.'

It takes two minutes to turn the liquid to ice cream, and about a minute to put it all in the cup.  It's called fried ice cream.  At least that's what the sign says.

**This short clip is taken with permission from the 'chef.'

I don't go to Sunstar mall often, i saw this fried ice cream stall for the first time today. Yes, before I got to read your blog. There was a bit of a commotion and so i peaked out of curiosity. Hehe, they're frying ice cream. That's cool.

Hi Ibyang531!

The commotion was also what made me go and see what was going on. I was there for like 10 minutes talking to the 'chef' and asking permission for the video. By the size of the crowd and the orders, I was thankful that the chef was as 'cool' as the ice cream even if I was having too many questions...
